Update 02-11-2012 - This won the "Red" Contest in the Fractals As Art group. Thank you to everyone who voted for this piece! I'm really thrilled!
This is one of my attempts to emulate the amazing painter Georgia O'Keeffe's style using Apophysis. I hope it at least slightly evokes her art. This is the one i had in mind: http://media.onsugar.com/files/2010/01/04/3/661/6610932/9efd4837acb4a3c1_okeefe-oriental-poppies.preview.jpg
The gradient was one I made in Apophysis using the image in the link and this flower is based on the apo blooms tutorial by da's Lindelokse.
Made in Apophysis 7x v15n and postwork done in PhotoPlus x4.
